"A Home from Home"

"We needed a place to stay in Purley for 8 nights. Priorities for us were peace, comfortable beds and good breakfasts during the stay. We found a real home from home in the Purley Cross Guest House where we were able to relax and unwind after a stressful day. There is also a massive 24 hr Tesco practically opposite and many other good eating places within walking distance. The owners gave good advice about local facilities. Would happily stay there again."

"I was warmly welcomed and given a cup of tea, even though I turned up at 10 pm without a booking and despite it being Wimbledon week I was given an extremely reasonable rate for the room which included breakfast, after logging on to the wifi and checking my mails I was taken through the garden to the accommodation situated in the annex, the room was clean, colourful and quiet"

"Always feels like coming home! Very familiar atmosphere, with lovely home cooked full English breakfast! Perfect location if you want to do daytrips to London, train station is in walking distance. Can do all your necessary shopping in Tosco's close by, open 24h. Good pub in walking distance, if you want a quick bite. Rooms facing the back garden are very quiet, without hearing busy traffic along Brighton road."
